After surviving a war and genocide at 11 years old, I made a commitment to make the world better. As a mother, I would go on to experience the greatest loss of losing a child. This journey of resilience would guide me to realize that the biggest issues in this world are affecting women and girls, and yet, they are rarely sitting at the leadership table.

Solange Tuyishime
Solange Tuyishime currently serves as the President and CEO of Elevate International. She is also the Co-Founder of Naylah’s Legacy and a UNICEF Canada Ambassador.
On a mission to make the world better, Solange inspires leaders globally to advance diversity in leadership, empowers women around the world as a social entrepreneur, and Elevates girls as a Philanthropist with the United Nations Children’s Fund.
